Extreme Homepage Makeover
Tucson Hospitality Inn (read case study) is a hospitality house—a non-profit organization that provides affordable temporary lodging for families in medical need. The Inn is a twenty-first century establishment, offering modern conveniences like free wireless Internet access to guests. Unfortunately, their website was stuck in 1998. The old site wasn’t just keeping THI from looking good online, it was actively harming the organization’s credibility to potential donors and guests.
With a confused brand message and a crippling lack of useful content, this site needed more than a fresh coat of paint; it needed to be torn down and rebuilt from its basic foundations—the mission, vision, and principles of the organization it represented.
The Inn’s new website went on to win an award at the annual convention of the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses, taking second place in a field of almost two hundred other contenders.
